IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTE: This copy is in poor condition and is sold as a binding copy or for parts/plates only. Binding: Both front and rear boards are completely detached. The leather spine is heavily perished with significant loss. Internal State: The text block is split in places. Significant ink annotations and heavy staining are present on the final several leaves and endpapers. Plates: Includes the in-text copperplate engravings and vignettes, though some pages show foxing and age-related soiling. Provenance: Front pastedown (on the detached cover) retains the armorial bookplate of Robert Blackburn. An ideal candidate for a professional bookbinder to practice restoration, or for a collector requiring specific leaves to complete another imperfect copy of the 1798 quarto edition.…
