If you’ve just bought or adopted an Australian shepherd dog or puppy (or are planning to get one) and are wondering how to treat them, make them feel comfortable, train them and understand the important features of their growth and development for the best experience with the dog, keep reading....
You Are About To Learn How To Best Care For And Train An Australian Shepherd Like A Professional To Have The Best Life Experience With Them!
First, let me congratulate you for getting this breed. Australian shepherds are special dogs; very intelligent, sensitive, practical and sporty; yet lovable and easy to fit into a family setup.
But you know that already, don’t you – it may be one of the reasons why you’ve decided to have an Aussie, isn’t it?
However, considering the fact that it is important to learn the nature and character of such a dog from an early stage for the best relationship and care, it can seem overwhelming and confusing - especially if this is your first (gifted) dog.
You must have wondered before:
What is the “normal” character of an Australian shepherd?
What exactly are the nutritional and social needs of the dog?
Where can I purchase a good Australian shepherd?
How do I train an Australian shepherd?
How do I bring out the best in an Aussie?
Even if this is just a small fraction of all the questions and concerns you may have had about the dog, you are in luck because this book answers them all comprehensively and using simple, straightforward language.
From its character, growth and development facts, nutrition, diseases to training and socializing the dog, this book covers it all. Its aim is to ensure you establish a healthy relationship with an Australian shepherd, and make the most of the dog’s talents and abilities without undergoing any stress whatsoever.
More precisely, this book features:
- A comprehensive background to Australian Shepherds, including where they came from, how they behave and socialize, their lifespan, weight at different ages, hair loss and much more
- When and how to train the Australian shepherd like a pro to bring out the best in it
- The needs of the Australian shepherd that you should strive to meet
- How to purchase an Australian shepherd if you haven’t done so already – important points to consider
- How to take care of an Australian shepherd easily
- What to feed your Australian shepherd and what to avoid
- The diseases to look out for in an Australian shepherd
- How the Australian shepherd dog fits into a family setup
- How to train your Australian shepherd to calm down, to stop barking uncontrollably, to stop being destructive, too hyperactive and for agility
…And so much more!
What’s more, this is a complete beginner’s book that is both easy and interesting to read, and very informative, so whether you consider yourself a complete beginner to keeping dogs (Aussies to be specific) or consider yourself knowledgeable about keeping dogs but have never had an Aussie, you will find this book eye opening!
