Hard back binding in publisher's original navy cloth covers, gilt title and author lettering to the spine. 8vo. 9'' x 6''. Contains [xv] 455 printed pages of text with 4 monochrome plates and 142 text illustrations, maps to the end papers. Bubbling of the cloth to the front cover and rear gutter, spine ends turned in, light foxing to the closed page edges and in Good condition, no dust wrapper. Member of the P.B.F.A.
