Princeton, New Jersey:: D. Van Nostrand Company, 1964. A solid copy. Square and reasonably tight. Inner hinges are sound. WITHDRAWN stamp, and a few other library markings. Bound in the original green cloth. Spine color has sun-faded a shade or two, but gold lettering remains bright and shiny. Text pages are clean and crisp. No foxing. No underlining. No highlighting. No margin notes. Although this revised edition is about the same size as the 1937 first, there are many revisions and additions (and some deletions -- e.g. the chapters on atomic magnetism, Stark effect, and fluorescent crystals have been omitted). Includes the Grotrian diagrams for all arc spectra except those of the rare earths. Illustrated with figures/diagrams. Tables. Graphs. Bibliographical references. Index. Five appendices. Index. .
