Print on Demand. This book delves into the nature of light variations in celestial bodies such as asteroids and satellites. Through observations and theoretical analysis, the author examines how the rotation of an object, marked by distinct spots, can cause predictable changes in its brightness. The author further explores how scientists can deduce the characteristics of these spots, such as their distribution and composition, by studying these light variations. By investigating the polarization and reflection of infrared radiation from these celestial bodies, the author also sheds light on their physical properties and behaviors. This book contributes to our understanding of the composition and dynamics of asteroids and satellites, providing valuable insights into the complexities of our solar system. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
