First printed in 1641 and follows a now rare earlier edition printed in Nuremberg in 1535 edited by the French 16th century humanist Louis Le Roy (1510-1577). Bound without the 92p supplement found in some volumes and separately paginated. Print date handwritten in close to contemporary ink on the bottom of the title page. Small worm hole extending through page 8. P49 misnumbered and corrected in ink. P254 misnumbered 264, p262, 263 and 325 misnumbered. Internally a fresh clean copy.
