Transform student assessment into a lever for success with a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approach!

Traditional testing often measures a student's ability to navigate a specific format rather than their actual knowledge. The Assessment Playbook: A UDL Approach offers a transformative solution by applying the inclusive learning framework of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to classroom evaluation.

What is UDL?

UDL is a research-based framework designed to remove barriers to learning by offering flexible options for how students engage with material, perceive information, and express their knowledge. By applying UDL to assessment, educators can move beyond "one-size-fits-all" tests to ensure every student has an equitable opportunity to demonstrate their true understanding.
