Astounding things seem just within your grasp, so why does it seem like you never reach? What is holding you back? How do you take those first steps from zero to hero? This guide is everything you need to know to be the best version of yourself possible.
Alternating between too much and too little of every skill presented, we offer a unique glimpse into each mind, giving insight into perspectives you may never have considered.
Being assertive is about far more than getting your way, and learning to take a stand is about far more than a loud voice. Aiming each lesson at those who have to develop greater strength in the ability or learn when to relax one's grip on it, both active and passive personality types are addressed, often offering crucial insight into the motivations of others.
Interpersonal or far-ranging, intimate or public, the lessons taught here will benefit your life from the small scale to the large. This guide seeks to inform novice and master alike. As you go though it, you will learn exactly what it takes to assert yourself. The 7 EASY STEPS are starting points, allowing us to explore all related topics.
YOU'LL LEARN:
- Boundaries not only keep you healthy but are crucial to the lesson
- Confidence in not only yourself but your ideas; practical lessons in developing it
- Preparation of these foundational practices will give you an edge
- Focus means never taking your eye off the prize; here is the breakdown
- Active listening isn't only looking aware but knowing others' perspective; here's how
- Validating others' feelings helps them and you; simple rules to keep in mind
- Compromise is strength; learn how to fuse, hybridize and weave ideas together
- And so much more!
Don't miss out: never before have all the elements of assertiveness been laid out in such straightforward, easy-to-do instructions. Breaking toward science and research wherever possible, the 7 EASY STEPS never condescends to anecdotal or popular belief, being the author's words on fact instead of hearsay.
Join us as we look at what it means to be assertive in the 21st century. When a stronger, more sure-footed position in this turbulent, ever-changing world is the reward, there is nothing to lose from improving your willpower.
This guide will give you the terms you need to make observations, the tools to create effective, lasting change, and the wisdom to know when you should not do anything. Whether doing a little personal development or seriously digging into inner demons, there is not a single facet of your life unaffected by willpower.
It is not good enough to be a leader by definition. You have to be a leader people want to follow. Even if the only one led is yourself, this guide will give you the lessons needed to achieve the iron-willed emotional resilience you have been looking for.
Isn't it time you stopped being a passenger in your own life and finally took the wheel? Don't waste another minute being pushed this way and that by life. Learn how to assert yourself today.
Let's get started!
