It wasn't night when the world shattered.
It was midday—sunlight, sirens, and the smell of burning rubber.
Stacey Olson survived the crash that killed her best friend, Deidre.
But survival isn't the same as living.
Years later, the grief still gnaws.
Then a haunting temptress named Asp appears—her voice hypnotic, her eyes mystical—and offers Stacey the one thing she's prayed for since that blinding afternoon: a chance to bring Deidre back.
But every resurrection carries a cost.
And every answer bleeds into another question.
As the line between faith, madness, and something far older begins to blur, Stacey must face the truth that grief has been feeding her to all along.
Is Asp her savior?
Or the serpent that's been coiled inside her all along?
