About the Authors
Inam Ullah Khan is a distinguished academic and industry professional, widely recognized for his contributions to Artificial Intelligence, Artificial General Intelligence, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Routing Protocols, Intrusion Detection Systems, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Evolutionary Computing. He is the Founder of AI-Explain Your Science (AI-EYS) and a Senior Member of IEEE, with active memberships in prestigious organizations such as the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), IEEE Young Professionals, IEEE Systems Council, and various IAENG societies focused on Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Internet Computing & Web Services, Information System Engineering, Scientific Computing, Software Engineering, and Wireless Networks. Dr. Khan currently serves as a Mentor of Artificial Intelligence at Corvit Systems, Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and as a Global Mentor and Guest Lecturer at Impact Xcelerator, School of Science & Technology, IE University, Madrid, Spain. He is also a Trainer at the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), Pakistan. Additionally, he is a Co-Supervisor in the Lincoln Global Postdoc and Research Associate Programme (LGPR) at Lincoln University College, Malaysia, and an Advisor for Cisco Community Pakistan. Previously, Dr. Khan was a Visiting Researcher at King's College London, UK, and has held faculty positions at several esteemed institutions in Pakistan, including the National University of Technology (NUTECH), Islamabad; Center for Emerging Sciences, Engineering & Technology (CESET), Islamabad; Abdul Wali Khan University (Garden Campus and Timergara Campus); University of Swat; and Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST), Islamabad Campus. Academically, Dr. Khan earned his Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from Isra University, Islamabad Campus, where he also completed his M.S. in Electronic Engineering. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan, Pakistan. His Master’s thesis, titled “Route Optimization with Ant Colony Optimization (ACO),” was published as a book in Germany and is available on Amazon. Additionally, he has completed the Huawei Technologies Pakistan Train the Trainer (TTT) Program. With a prolific research portfolio, Dr. Khan has authored and co-authored over 100 research articles published in leading journals, conferences, and book chapters. He is also an editor for approximately 20 books covering various advanced topics. His expertise has been recognized at the national level, as he has been featured multiple times as a technology expert on Pakistan National Television, showcasing his thought leadership in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies. Currently, Dr. Khan is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia, and also serves as Visiting Faculty at Mechatronics Engineering Lab at the NAVTTC Center of Excellence, Islamabad, Pakistan. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Faculty Member at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, Coimbatore, India.
Oroos Arshi (Member IEEE) is a Research Scientist at AI-EYS, where she is shaping the future through innovation and academic excellence. She was awarded the Young Researcher Award at the International Conference on Emerging Trends and Innovations (ICETI) 2024. She is an active member of IEEE Women in Engineering, IEEE Robotics & Automation Society, and IEEE Young Professionals. Additionally, she is a member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG). She completed her postgraduate degree, M.Tech in Cyber Security and Forensics, from the School of Computer Science, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, India. She earned her undergraduate degree, B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, from Integral University, Lucknow, India. She has around 15 international publications in reputed journals, conferences, books, and book chapters. Recently, Oroos published her book titled Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Swarms for Protecting Smart Cities: Future Trends & Challenges. In addition to this, six of her books have been accepted as an editor by prestigious publishers, including Wiley, IGI Global, Springer, Apple Academic Press, and Taylor & Francis. She served as a session chair for AIoT’s Emerging Technologies and Future Applications at the 4th International Conference on Advances in Computation Technology, Computing, and Engineering in Morocco. Additionally, she was the chief organizer and publication chair at the 2nd International Conference on Emerging Trends & Innovation (ICETI) in July 2024. More notably, she has served as a speaker at numerous conferences. Moreover, she has earned both a gold and silver badge for problem-solving in Design Analysis and Algorithm (DAA) from Hacker Rank. Her expertise has been demonstrated on multiple platforms, reflecting her commitment to sharing insights and contributing to advancements in her field globally. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, the Internet of Things, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing.
Keshav Kaushik is an experienced educator with over eight years of teaching and research experience in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, and the Internet of Things. He is working as an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) in the systemic cluster under the School of Computer Science at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, India. He has published 60+ research papers in International Journals and has presented at reputed International Conferences. He is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) v11, CQI and IRCA Certified ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Lead Auditor, Quick Heal Academy Certified Cyber Security Professional (QCSP), and IBM Cybersecurity Analyst. He acted as a keynote speaker and delivered 50+ professional talks on various national and international platforms. He has edited over ten books with reputed international publishers like Springer, Taylor and Francis, IGI Global, Bentham Science, etc. He has chaired various special sessions at international conferences and also served as a reviewer in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Hamed Taherdoost is an award-winning leader in research and development, known for his contributions across both industry and academia. He is the founder of Hamta Business Corporation, Associate Professor and Chair of RSAC at University Canada West, & Director of R&D at Q Minded | Quark Minded Technology Inc. He has over 20 years of experience in both industry and academic sectors. He has worked at international companies from Cyprus, the UK, Malta, Iran, Malaysia, and Canada and has been highly involved in development of several projects in different industries, healthcare, transportation, residential, oil and gas and IT. Additionally, he has served as a trusted technical and technology consultant for multiple companies, providing advisory and mentorship. In academia, Dr. Taherdoost has held teaching positions in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America since 2009. He began his academic career as a lecturer at AU & PNU and later served as an adjunct professor, dissertation chair and faculty fellow at Westcliff University, USA, & adjunct professor and thesis supervisor at Gisma University of Applied Sciences, Germany. His research tenure at IAU lasted over eight years, during which he supervised numerous students. Dr. Taherdoost has a prolific publishing record, with over 350 scientific articles in top-tier journals and conference proceedings. His work is widely recognized, with a strong citation impact reflecting in a high h-index (>50), and his contributions span book chapters, edited volumes, and authored books focusing on technology and research methodology. His textbooks on E-Business and Digital Transformation are teaching at global institutions, including the University of Malta, the University of Macau, and University Canada West. Currently, he is involved in several multidisciplinary research projects, including studying innovation in information technology, blockchain, cybersecurity, and technology acceptance.
Khadija Slimani completed her Ph.D., which was jointly supervised by the University of Ibn Tofail in Morocco and the University of Technology of Belfort Montbeliard (UTBM) in France. This collaborative international effort showcased her commitment to academic excellence and cross-cultural research. During her doctoral studies, Dr. Slimani delved into the realms of machine learning, deep learning, pattern recognition, and computer vision, with a specific focus on academic emotion recognition. This interdisciplinary approach, spanning both Moroccan and French academic environments, enriched her research experience and contributed to the global perspective of her work. After completing her Ph.D. thesis, Dr. Slimani pursued a postdoctoral position at the University of Poitiers, France, demonstrating her versatility in research by delving into Objects DRI (Detection, Recognition, and Identification). Her application of AI methodologies aimed at enhancing video content filtering for optimal security reflected the international scope of her expertise. Dr. Slimani's academic contributions extended to various engineering schools in Paris, France, where she took on teaching responsibilities across multiple modules, including data science, deep learning, machine Learning, data bases, and computer vision. Currently holding the esteemed title of Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Automatic Electronic Computing in Paris, France. Her scholarly achievements include over 18 published articles in esteemed journals and conferences, supported by an impressive h-index of 10 in Scopus. Notably, she played a key role as a guest editor for the special issue “Integrating Intelligence: Advancements in Applied Research with Smart Technologies” in the Journal of Autonomous Intelligence (eISSN: 2630-5046) and served as a guest editor for the proceedings published in E3S Web of Conference 2022 and 2023, both Scopus/web of science indexed. Through her diverse roles, Dr. Slimani consistently inspires and contributes to shaping the next generation of researchers.
