Disbound stab-stitched pamphlet, woodcut arms of Great Britain to verso of title page. Moderate toning, light soiling to exterior, top-edges affected by trimming with loss to woodcut ornament at head of title page and page numbers. $500. * Only edition. An attempt to raise much-needed Royal revenue, the Articles was part of James I's long and unsuccessful struggle with Parliament, which lead ultimately to Parliament's adjournment and dissolution.
