They possess qualities which make a work live: faultless draughtsmanship allied with imagination that is always original and illuminating. Includes numerous illustrations, both in line and others tipped in. Condition notes: 181 numbered pp; HB w/ DJ. Pages: clean, bright, tight, dark topstain, decorative eps, tipped in color portrait frontis; tape residue to front ep, edges modestly sunned. Cover: burgundy cloth, black artwork front, gilt titles to spine block; v lt shelfwear, extrems slightly worn, spine block rubbed shipped with some loss of clarity. DJ: clipped, glossy whites, Rackham artwork front, orange titles front/spine; moderate edge/shelfwear, top and bottom edges rolled out word, small to medium closed tears, one poorly tape repair front near tail with tape residue showing. Heavy.

We stabilize most minor defects with archival quality materials, and with few exceptions, these stabilizations are reversible.
