Art Trouble is a story of teamwork, where math and art connect a child's world with their boundless imagination.
Embark on a witty adventure of team building where lively Numbers come together to create a marvelous piece of ART. As they work hand in hand, they uncover a profound truth: When they detach themselves from their own ideas, their minds becomes free to imagine even greater things!
Ms. Dandy is excited about her stuident’s first Art Festival at Numberland Elementary! The class of numbers have distinct artistic abilities and personalities and want to impress their teacher with their unique creations.
“One was a quiet student and a keen observer.
One stood on a dot and practiced drawing a
perfectly round CIRCLE.”
But can they work together? Some numbers feel their art is better, while others feel their work is insigificant.
“Hey Five!” Four yelled.
“Nice pen. However, a nice looking pen CANNOT make a new shape!”
“You drew my SQUARE and added Three’s TRIANGLE to it.
You re-named our shapes as PEN-TAG-ON?” Four asked.
What perspectice does Zero bring to his friends that changes their mind to create the most beautiful surpirse for their teacher? Discover how they create a beautiful surprise for their teacher in this lively tale that blends math, art, and imagination.
Art Trouble makes math creative, engaging, and hands-on for kids. With cheerful illustrations, it sparks curiosity and connects math with art and imagination. The story, inspired by the cheerful picture books of Eric Carle and Ezra Keats and the simple writing of Leo Lionni, emphasizes teamwork and is perfect for children ages 3-9 (Pre K-3rd grade).
Kids ages: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9
