The Monte Carlo Rally is the oldest rally in the world. Anyone winning here becomes a legend. Exceptional drivers such as Walter Röhrl, Sébastien Ogier and Michèle Mouton have proven why they are among the best in their field. Frank Zinkewitz pays tribute to this legendary rally in his own way: with a book of over 200 pages, he recreates the most spectacular racing episodes from its 100-year history, utilizing high-quality scale model cars. He used not only contemporary photographs and meticulously researched details as source material, but also the stories of Walter Röhrl and his fellow athletes. Zinkewitz presents the models of the most famous winning vehicles in a credible way, creating a portrait of an event and its heroes that has never been seen before. The ultimate tribute to a legendary rally! 208 pp. Deutsch.…
