About the Author:

Linda Schreurs entered a convent, as a young woman of fifteen, to begin what she expected to be a life dedicated to prayer. While she chose another path in her faith journey, her devotion in prayer never wavered. From life experiences including secular and Christian radio and television; serving as women's ministries director at a large Assembly of God church in Des Moines, Iowa; and gaining ordination as minister with MorningStar Ministries, Linda has pursued a God-directed life.

Her ministry, Intimacy With God, publishes a monthly journal and has hosted conferences with speakers as renowned as Jill Austin, Stacey Campbell, Shampa Rice, and others. She and her husband have recently completed a prophetic prayer journey to Iowa's ninety-nine county courthouses and is now preparing a manuscript that chronicles that journey. Linda also leads women on solitude retreats and hermitages.

Linda and her husband Mike have been married for thirty-five years and have three adult daughters and three grandchildren.
