As the rain pours and the Ark rocks on the endless water, Puck can't shake one big question: why were they all chosen to be here He waddles from stall to stall, past a seasick zebra, a dance party of monkeys, a bandaged woodpecker, sleeping sloths, a towering giraffe, embarrassed skunks, tangled flamingoes, debating elephants and orangutans, and a wise peacock, searching for an answer. It is only when he finds Noah himself that Puck learns the truth: he and every animal aboard were saved so they could help fill the new earth with life again. When the flood ends and a rainbow stretches across the sky, Puck discovers the most beautiful part of all: God's forever promise. The Ark and the Animals: Puck the Penguin's Version of Noah's Ark
What if one of God's creatures had the courage to ask the biggest question on the Ark?
When God calls Puck the Penguin and his partner Polly to board Noah's Ark, Puck is equal parts excited and nervous. He loves his cozy iceberg and his regular swim schedule, but he always helps when God asks, even when he doesn't know why. And this time, Puck has a question burning in his heart: Why are there only two of every animal? Why were they chosen? And what is this enormous mountain of wood for, anyway?
Join Puck as he waddles through the Ark's busy, bustling halls in search of answers and discovers something even more wonderful than he ever imagined.
Along the way, young readers will meet:
- Zoe the Zebra - so seasick her stripes have turned green
- The monkeys and apes - throwing a full dance party in the rafters
- A woodpecker with a bandaged beak - caught trying to peck the walls of the Ark
- Skunks, flamingos, elephants, and a very wise peacock - each with their own hilarious adventure
- Noah himself - who finally gives Puck the answer that changes everything
Filled with humor, wonder, and a faith-filled message, children will carry with them long after the last page. The Ark and the Animals remind young hearts that God's promises are real, His care is for everyone, and every rainbow in the sky is proof.
Perfect for children ages 3-10 Ideal for bedtime, Sunday school & church libraries A meaningful gift for Easter, Christmas, or baptism
