Paperback, lxxxv pages of adverts, 119-160pp. The first plate is a reproduction of a watercolour by an unknown artist depicting the proposed Thames Tunnel between Wapping and Rotherhithe, c.1827. Contains the articles 'The Architectural Consequences of Women' by Basil D. Nicholson, 'Sir Christopher Wren' by E. Beresford Chancellor, 'The Paradise of Siva' [a study of Hindu architectural sculpture] by Penelope Chetwode, 'Hispanic Humanities' by Baird Dennison [constituting book reviews], 'Abstraction and Structure' by Oswell Blakeston, an interlude in French 'Pages d'un Journal du Chantier' by Berthold Lubetkin, a feature on Paul Nash to coincide with the exhibition at The Leicester Galleries in November 1932, and a rear section devoted to the use of steel and concrete. A showcase on A Villa in the Taunus Mountains by Peter Behrens, A House at Rye, Sussex, by Frank Scarlett, New Work at Oxford by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott.
