These are interior stories that often grapple with the ache and drive for connection, the puzzlement and the fear. With the sublime assuredness of his writing Leach leads the reader deep into the often silent and complex lives of others. Directly and cleanly told, Approaching Zero surprises with arresting images and haunts with profound metaphor. Approaching Zero is funny, quirky, haunting and heartbreaking.' - Julie Watts.
