'Applied Economics is the premier applied economics book in the UK.' Bournemouth University
'...an extremely useful text with a very broad coverage, making it suitable reading to a range of introductory and non-specialists economics courses. The most attractive feature is the combination of theory and evidence in a fully integrated manner.' University of Wales, Swansea
'Griffiths and Wall have long held a unique market position in the undergraduate economics textbook market.' Staffordshire University.
Highly praised over eight editions for its clear presentation, its broad coverage of economic topics and its unique blend of theory and application, the ninth edition of Applied Economics builds on these strengths and continues the traditions which have established it as the best selling text for students of applied economics.
With its unique blend of theory and application, Applied Economics communicates the vitality and relevance of the subject to students, bringing economics to life and helping them apply economic principles to the 'real world'. Always at the forefront of economic debate and events, the ninth edition combines information and analysis over 30 separate topic areas and gives students an insight into the difficulties of formulating and implementing economic policy.
