From Apple to Algorithm is a powerful journey through the lives of twelve brilliant minds whose discoveries transformed the world. Blending biography, science, and storytelling, this book reveals the human side of the greatest scientific breakthroughs-from Newton's falling apple to Tim Berners-Lee's invention of the World Wide Web.
Meet the rebels, visionaries, and pioneers who challenged belief systems, broke barriers, and expanded human knowledge. Discover how Marie Curie glowed through the darkness of prejudice, how Stephen Hawking explored the cosmos from a wheelchair, and how Gregor Mendel quietly unlocked the secret of inheritance in a monastery garden.
This collection brings to life the minds of:
- Isaac Newton - who gave us the laws of motion
- Nikola Tesla - the genius behind modern electricity
- Marie Curie - the pioneer of radioactivity
- Albert Einstein - who redefined space and time
- Alexander Graham Bell - the father of modern communication
- Charles Darwin - who uncovered life's evolutionary story
- Galileo Galilei - the heretic who moved the heavens
- Louis Pasteur - who conquered invisible killers
- James Watson, Francis Crick & Rosalind Franklin - who revealed the structure of DNA
- Tim Berners-Lee - who built the Web that connects us all
- Gregor Mendel - the monk who discovered genetics
- Stephen Hawking - the voice of the cosmos
Written in an accessible, engaging style, From Apple to Algorithm is more than a science book-it's a tribute to the power of ideas and the people brave enough to pursue them. Perfect for students, science enthusiasts, and curious readers of all ages.
