The Aphasia Workbook For Adults – Large Print is a compassionate, practical resource for stroke survivors, adults with brain injury, and the families who love them. Designed for use with speech therapy at home or in clinic, it combines evidence informed cognitive therapy for adults with clear, step by step language practice. Large print formatting, uncluttered pages, and supportive visuals make this language workbook accessible for a wide range of abilities and ideal as part of stroke recovery activities.
Structured sections move gently from picture and word recognition to naming, sentence building, and everyday communication tasks. Activities encourage word finding exercises, naming practice, reading comprehension, and writing therapy while supporting neuroplasticity, mental stimulation, and confidence. This workbook can be used alongside SLP materials, occupational therapy aids, or other rehabilitation tools as part of a long term recovery plan.
- Progressive chapters cover visual identification, language and word retrieval, sentence practice, and real life scenarios, ending with writing and expression tasks for daily communication.
- Ideal for expressive aphasia, receptive aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia of speech, and other speech impairment needs, with clean illustrations that reduce overload and support focus.
- Supports post stroke care, traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, dementia activities, and memory loss help by offering repeated, structured practice that fits home or clinic routines.
- Encourages independent living skills, non verbal communication support, and daily brain training through functional tasks like calendars, menus, labels, maps, and everyday conversations.
- Useful as an adult activity book, senior citizen activities resource, or thoughtful gift for stroke survivor working to regain speech ability and rebuild confidence.
Whether you are a speech pathologist seeking fresh SLP materials, a caregiver searching for brain games for adults, or a family member wanting to support language recovery between therapy sessions, this workbook provides gentle structure, meaningful practice, and hope filled progress for real life communication.
