Demy4to, engraved frontis, additional engraved title, [xviii], 526, [14] pp. 40 plates, 2 extra maps, Ireland and Queen's County, extra plate of Carrickfergus in 1612, bound WITH A Supplement to Mr. Simon's Essay on Irish Coins. [By T. Snelling.] with two (of three?) engraved plates of coins, 8 pp. 20th Century brown buckram, gilt on dark brown lettering piece, cream endpapers, untrimmed so large paper copy. The paper is soft and browned, light foxing of the plates, offsetting of some plates otherwise VG tight copy with the three additional plates, the Carrickfergus plate by John Dunstall appears to have been reproduced by The Society of Antiquaries but the date is illegible, the engraved map of Ireland and of Queen's County is by T. Barnett Sc, the 8 page Snelling supplement is itself a rare item, WorldCat locates only two copies. Apart from a number of X marks in the wide margins with a china? pencil this is a VG copy with the useful nine page subscribers listing. Seller Inventory # 6596
