About the Author
Dr. Dipayan Das, Ph.D., serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Assistant Dean (Academics) at the Royal School of Biosciences, The Assam Royal Global University. He has over five years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, complemented by eight years of research experience. Prior to his current position, he was associated with the Centre for Innovative Studies at the University of North Bengal. Dr. Das completed his doctoral research under the supervision of Dr. Palash Mandal in the Department of Botany at the University of North Bengal. His research focuses on the application of nanoparticles for crop improvement, with broader interests spanning nanobiology, microbiology, plant physiology and biochemistry. He is a life member of the Indian Botanical Society and the Microbiologists Society, India. Dr. Das has authored over 50 research papers in international journals and five academic books. His academic achievements include receiving the CSIR-UGC-NET Fellowship, as well as the InSc Young Scientist Award and InSc Research Excellence Award. He secured first rank (Gold Medal) in M.Sc. Botany in 2014 and second rank (Silver Medal) in B.Sc. Botany in 2012 from the University of North Bengal. He has qualified the CSIR-UGC NET five times, along with clearing the West Bengal SET and GATE once each. He was also selected for the DST-INSPIRE Doctoral Fellowship. In addition to his academic and research contributions, Dr. Das has five years of experience mentoring aspirants for the CSIR-UGC NET examination, with many of his students currently pursuing doctoral research across leading institutions in India or serving as faculty members in universities and colleges.
Dr. Birson Ingti is an Assistant Professor & Coordinator (Department of Microbiology) and Assistant Dean (Admissions), The Assam Royal Global University. Dr. Ingti has more than 11 years of Research and 5 years of teaching experience, his expertise lies in antimicrobial resistance, plasmid-mediated β-lactamase genes, and microbial genomics. He has published over 20 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and authored book chapters with Springer and Taylor & Francis. He is a recipient of the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) Grant and holds ICAR-NET qualification. Dr. Ingti is an active member of ESCMID, BSAC (UK), and ProMED EPICORE. His ongoing research focuses on β-lactamase inhibition using medicinal plant extracts. He has delivered lectures in national and international academic forums.
Dr. Amitabha Bhattacharjee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology at Assam University, Silchar. With over 15 years of academic and more than 20 years of research experience, he specializes in antimicrobial resistance, clinical microbiology, and molecular diagnostics. Dr. Bhattacharjee holds a Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University and has completed prestigious postdoctoral fellowships in the UK and France under DBT and ICMR programs. He has published over 125 research articles and multiple book chapters, and holds 3 Indian patents on antibiotic resistance detection. He has successfully led 14 national and international research projects funded by DBT, CSIR, DST, and others. His notable accolades include the ICMR International Fellowship, DBT-CREST Award, and Asia Pacific Young Investigator Award. A reviewer for leading journals, he has presented his work globally. Dr. Bhattacharjee's research continues to focus on developing diagnostic markers for AMR and exploring genomic mechanisms of resistance in bacterial pathogens.
Dr. Payel Paul is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany, North Bengal St. Xavier’s College. Dr. Paul carries 5 years of teaching experience at UG level and 10 years of research experience. Previously Dr. Paul was with the Taxonomy of Angiosperms and Biosystematics Laboratory, Department of Botany, University of North Bengal as a Senior Research Scholar. She works in the field of plant systematics, palynology and molecular systematics. She has published 18 research articles and 4 academic books to date. She holds University of North Bengal first class second position in Masters of Science in Botany for the year 2014 (Silver Medalist). She was a recipient of Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for the period of 2012-2014 and UGC-BSR Fellowship as JRF and SRF for the period of 2015-2020. She's also experienced in conducting Botany practical and examinations of IGNOU.

Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.

Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Revaluation Books, Hounslow, United Kingdom, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
