Anticoagulation decisions rarely wait until you have time to search through a textbook.
When you need to confirm a dose, select the right monitoring test, plan an interruption, assess bleeding risk, or identify the correct reversal strategy, the Anticoagulation Bedside Pocket Guide puts the essential information within reach.Built specifically as a point-of-need clinical reference, this practical guide organizes anticoagulation around real bedside decisions—not lengthy theory—so you can move quickly from the clinical question to the information you need.
Inside, you’ll find:
- Rapid-reference guidance for heparin, LMWH, warfarin, DOACs, fondaparinux, argatroban, bivalirudin, and related agents
- Dosing, monitoring, renal and hepatic adjustment, interactions, and stopping guidance
- Practical coverage of VTE, atrial fibrillation, mechanical valves, perioperative management, HIT, pregnancy, cancer-associated thrombosis, and special populations
- Quick guidance for major bleeding and emergency anticoagulant reversal
- High-yield tools including CHA₂DS₂-VASc, HAS-BLED, Wells, Padua, Caprini, and 4Ts
- Dedicated quick-reference tables for dosing thresholds, INR targets, DOAC comparisons, procedural interruption, and reversal
- Common-error and safety callouts that highlight mistakes worth catching before they reach the patient
- A detailed index designed for fast bedside retrieval
