Political conservative magazine in support of the King and Parliament, in direct opposition to the radicals of the time who advocated political reform - George Cruikshank did not join any political party, so he was able to provide cartoons to both conservative and radical parties. At the same time, he also created the illustrations for the anti-loyalist publications, including 'The Political House that Jack Built' (1820).- Rare periodical, only the first volume from 1820 is occasionally recorded.
