About this title

ANTHEM (January 2004) Adult reading only. ANTHEM is a graphically depicted novel that plunges into the South American illegal drug trafficking world. And the deadly and extreme U.S. measures to entirely eradicate illegal drug use in the U.S. and "reshape" the New World Order. ANTHEM began as nonfiction. A major publishing house required the story be deeply scaled back and certain names deleted. No deal. Most of ANTHEM's characters are real people and ANTHEM's main core story line is true. Some names and selected scenarios have been changed to protect the still guilty. Some in the U.S. Intelligence Community are not too pleased with ANTHEM. Graphic scenes of an airliner's tragic crash, escalating violence and human heartbreak work through the book to pay and anchor honor and dignity to humankind. ANTHEM is a troubling story with hope rising up to match the timeless, superb value of our humankind. Warts and all, here we go!

From the Author:

My wife read the first three draft chapters of Anthem and moved into the guest room. The NYC potential publisher demanded 348 pages down from 739 pages. They also demanded certain names be deleted and scenarios colored to prevent oncoming lawsuits. A famous U.S. author said Anthem was much too graphic. Answer: So is the real world of illegal drug trafficking and all its bad and dangerous guys.
