Print on Demand. This book examines the roots of the conflict between Biblical and geologic interpretations of the creation and history of our planet. The author posits that mankind has neglected the significance of the principles involved, and their importance to the Christian faith. Central to the debate is the question of whether geologic formations, specifically fossils, were preceded by plant or animal life and have been the subjects of development, or whether they were made by creative acts. The author asserts that the latter is true, emphasizing that the admission of creative acts in any department in Nature binds one to the rule till exceptional grounds can be shown for an exception. He argues that admitting exceptions without proper proof has led to false conclusions, particularly the idea that the world was not made in six days, as stated in the fourth commandment. The book aims to demonstrate that this understanding is erroneous, and that the Biblical account of creation is accurate. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
