Fin dall’inizio della sua carriera ha tenuto mostre personali in prestigiosi musei, tra cui: Kunsthalle, Berna (1978); Städtische Kunsthalle, Düsseldorf (1984); Stadelijk Museum, Amsterdam (1986); Art Institute of Chicago, Museum of Art of Philadelphia, MOCA di Los Angeles e MoMA di New York (1987); Neue Nationalgalerie, Berlino (1991); Kyoto National Museum of Art (1993); Hiroshima Museum of Contemporary Art (1993); Museo di Capodimonte, Napoli (1997); The Museum of Modern Art, San Paolo (1998); The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (1998); Galleria d’Arte Moderna, Bologna (1999);Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, Amsterdam (2011); Royal Academy of Arts, Londra (2014). Nel 1977 ha partecipato a Documenta a Kassel. Nel 1980 il suo lavoro è stato presentato alla XXIX Biennale di Venezia, nel Padiglione tedesco, dove ha ricevuto numerosi riconoscimenti dalla critica. Nel 2007 il Guggenheim Museum di Bilbao ha presentato una grande retrospettiva dedicata al suo lavoro e nello stesso anno il Louvre di Parigi ha commissionato all’artista un’opera per la sua collezione permanente.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
