Over 200 figures help you visualize important concepts.
You’ll understand the best retirement income decisions for you. And you’ll know why you’re making those decisions, so you’re comfortable with them.
Written by an authority in the retirement income field, The Handbook of Retirement Income is an objective source of the different approaches to generate retirement income that you can apply to your personal situation.
Written for a wide audience, this book does not presume an understanding of sophisticated mathematics or any technical field. Yet its findings are based on quantitative evidence rather than anecdotal opinion. Important retirement income concepts appear in the body of the book while quantitatively technical matter supporting these concepts can be found in appendices.
Some retirement income generation approaches are vastly more efficient than others. You’ll learn how to generate significantly higher monthly income from the same starting point. Seemingly unbelievably—until you understand why—such higher-income approaches also provide greater protection against outliving your wealth!
Your pension plan will likely result in an account balance that you must choose how to deploy. After accumulating your retirement nest egg for decades, it’s crucial to make well-informed decisions. They will affect your financial security for the rest of your life. This book provides the knowledge to do so.
While retirement is more than an economic event, ensuring the financial means to get through your retirement years will allow you to enjoy life—focusing your precious time on activities that fulfill you.
