Paperback. At 63, Anne Lowell is left with what seems an impossible task. When Tick, her husband of 43 years, dies unexpectedly, she must fulfill his lifelong dream of building an immense car museum. In 1971, when she is nineteen years old, Anne develops a deep-seated terror of cars and driving, but when she later meets and eventually marries Tick Lowell, the ultimate motorhead and consummate car collector, Anne knows she must not only become an equal partner in Tick's car-collecting business, but also must conquer her fear. ANNES426, a story of the rebuilding of families and lives, is set against a background of car restoration. Down twisting back roads and along the highways of her memory, Anne takes us to visit places often enjoyable, sometimes heartbreaking, but always memorable This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.
