xii - 286 pages, 4to.large paper edition 23 x 29cm, illus by pen, pencil and camera lacking the plate of" Favourite Flies for Norway" also the 4 colour plates of salmon flies, are not present in this volume nor are they listed on the plate list as they are in the large paper copies. Some occasional spotting to the contents. The front end paper has some insect damage to lower outer corner. Bound in a contemporary dark blue patterned cloth gilt title to spine , light rubbing to head of spine and outer corners. Comparing it with another large paper copy the only difference is the lack of the fly plates of which only the Favourite Flies for Norway" is called for and not the colour plates which are called for in the plate list of the copy examined. This edition not recorded in Charles Woods bibliography os salmon.
