12mo (17.5 x 11.5 cms). [4], 192, [2], plates and maps. Red cloth; black lettering and map to upper board; black lettering to spine. Four pages and two pages of advertisements including free endpapers, plus paste-downs. Dust jacket. Not dated. CONDITION: Good. Binding clean and bright. Interior clean. All plates and maps present. One map has a 7 cm closed tear. Dust jacket a little frayed along its upper and lower edges, with small nicks at either side of the spine crown and the top of the flap folds, and a deeper (2 cms) closed tear at the top of the fold between spine and rear. I normally use Royal Mail. Shipping rates are based on the cost of sending a 1kg parcel or, for two books, a 2kg parcel. Two rates are quoted. These are: for the UK, Royal Mail's first class post (for priority service) and second class post (for standard service); for the rest of the world, Royal Mail's international standard rate (for priority service) and international economy rate (for standard service).

Books are normally placed in a plastic sleeve, bubble-wrapped, and mailed in purpose-made book boxes, although I may sometimes use padded envelopes for small paperbacks.

The "international rate" applies only to continental Europe and Eire. If you live elsewhere postage costs for the priorty service will be higher (the standard service rate however applies to all oveerseas countries).

Book sizes are given in centimeters, to the nearest half centimeter, and refer to the text block, not the binding.
