xvi -152 pages, frontis of hooks baited for trolling, two other full-page plates + text illustrations from woodcuts. Bound in a contemporary full tan calf, a very good copy. Salter who gives his address as Rochester Terrace, Stoke Newington. Salter notes on the title page "I write from practice not from books arrange". And the preface" I have employed some of my leisure time in writing this Work as a direction or guide to the young and inexperienced angler, the information it contains such has been acquired by practice and experience in the art during the last forty years".
