After enduring trials and travels, Erik, once known as The Phantom of the Paris Opera, and his beloved Christine have settled into a new home in distant Ireland. But safety comes at a price. They must face the suspicions of the village they now inhabit, as well as the responsibilities and web of lies and deceptions that still ensnare them. Can they find reason to sing in a world that wishes for their silence? Can they build a new life and escape the past?
Worse, matters at the Opera continue to escalate. Meg Giry and The Persian must contend with a hunt for the new Phantoms, as Erik and Christine's old enemies plot revenge ... and resort to murder.
