The author’s background as a Cowboy Christian gentleman from Texas adds a distinctive western flavor to many of his stories. About the Author: About the Author Michael is a widower with five grown sons. He can best be described as a true Cowboy Christian Gentleman, who is strong but gentle as described in his poem “Men of Velvet and Steel”. During his life he has been an award winning photographer, successful businessman, entrepreneur, father, grandfather, author, and rancher and is a US Marine veteran. Michael has been described by his friends as a warrior, philosopher, poet, adventurer and a true friend. A man that is resilient, loving, kind, funny and passionate. He is known to be strong enough to stand up and to do the right thing for the right reasons, even if he is the only one standing. “Desires..”and “Angels…” is a collection of inspirational stories about life and love written in a unique rhyme format.
