The American crime drama television series, Charlie’s Angels (1978-1981) has become an icon of the 1970s as prominent as layered hairstyles. Did you know that the series first aired on ABC from September 22, 1976? Were you aware that the series ran for five seasons and 110 episodes? Do you recall that the series was created by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts and was produced by Aaron Spelling? Did you know that the list of more than 136 co-stars reads like a Who’s Who of Hollywood in the 1970s, including Jack Albertson, Jim Backus, Sonny Bono, Dr. Joyce Brothers, Bert Convy, Jamie Lee Curtis, Anne Francis, Tab Hunter, Casey Kasem, Ida Lupino, Dean Martin, Tom Selleck, Phil Silvers, Barbara Stanwyck, and Jane Wyman?
These trivia facts about the adventures of three females working in a private detective agency in Los Angeles, California are just a few of the hundreds of informative details packed as solidly in this book as commercials in a 60-minute episode. Initially starring Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett-Majors, and Jaclyn Smith in the leading roles, with David Doyle co-starring as a sidekick to the three women and John Forsythe providing the voice of their boss, later additions to the cast were Cheryl Ladd, Shelley Hack, and Tanya Roberts. They and many more famous ‘70s celebrities appear in Mike Pringel's ultimate fan's guide to the series.
Filled with facts about the show, behind-the-scenes tidbits, rare photos, and Forewords by Farrah Fawcett and Cheryl Ladd.
