Paperback. To save his family, London's celebrated saint must become hell's deadliest harvester. To the British high society and press, James Chambers is the "Angel of Knightsbridge"-a bestselling novelist, devoted family man, and philanthropist rescuing at-risk youth.Beneath the polished facade lies a blood debt.Bound by a three-year infernal pact with the Sovereign of the Acheron Kingdom, James has a single mandate to shield his wife and children from eternal damnation: deliver 78 corrupted souls to the Golden Furnace.By day, he is the meticulous Architect, managing his pristine estate and shielding his family from suspicion. By night, he becomes Umbrax-a horned terror slipping silently through solid walls, hunting the city's vile predators, and extracting their life force without leaving a single trace.James vows to harvest only monsters. But hell doesn't play by human morals.Deep within him, an untamable primal hunger stirs-one that demands raw violence and refuses to wait for the tithe. As Scotland Yard's relentless Detective Evelyn Reed closes in on the inexplicable deaths, and demonic watchers tighten their grip around his throat, James's architecture of deceit begins to shatter. When a man sells his soul to save the ones he loves, can he ever return to the light? He is a father.
