The standard work on policy psychotherapy
Policy Psychotherapy - This is the subject that every psychotherapist has to deal with. This is not only about the formal application procedure for the justification of psychotherapy, but also questions about therapeutic basic attitude, diagnosis, therapy goals and treatment techniques.
Against the background of his many years of experience as an appraiser for cash applications and psychotherapist in his own practice, Roderich Hohage comprehensively conveys the practice of psychoanalytic psychotherapy. This edition also considers the aspects of the patient's working model, the technique of non-punitive confrontation, and the importance of as-if fantasies. An in-depth chapter illuminates all aspects of supervision: fundamental elements such as triangulation and supervision styles, the patient level, the relationship level of patient and therapist, the level of action, the therapist's self-level, and the psychoanalysis of the supervision relationship.
Medical and psychological psychotherapists in education and training receive a clearly structured and didactically well-prepared guide. Experienced practitioners and supervisors benefit from the particularly close connection between theory and practice.
Application related: numerous illustrative case examples
Practical: instructions for meaningful planning of the therapy process.
Plus: Extensive chapter on supervision
