Neuware - A collection of poetry and flash fiction from 20+ Black and Brown writers from around the globe (including the incomparable Shonda Buchanan), Amorphaville: Stories Outside Time explores our collective relationship to the fluidity of time-both in how it has been historically used as a weapon of oppression, and how we might start to reimagine it as a tool for liberation. This anthology facilitates a crucial dialogue on two distinct facets of time. It unflinchingly explores how time has been historically forged and wielded as a potent weapon of oppression, an invisible hand shaping narratives of power and disenfranchisement. The narratives within bear witness to these systemic burdens, acknowledging the past's indelible mark on the present. Simultaneously, the anthology serves as a powerful call to action and a beacon of hope. It challenges readers and writers alike to reimagine time not as a fixed, linear constraint, but as a fluid, malleable tool for liberation. The anthology proposes what if instead of dwelling in arenas generally reserved for thinking about the arbitrary concept of time. The 20+ pieces inside this anthology explore the revolutionary act of reclaiming one's narrative, redefining generational legacies, and envisioning futures where time bends toward justice and healing. Through diverse perspectives and global experiences, Amorphaville: Stories Outside Time, offers a rich, resonant tapestry of resistance, resilience, and radical imagination. It is a vital read for anyone interested in how literature can reshape our perception of history, presence, and possibility.…
