Octavo (24 cm), pp. 881. Beige cloth with green titling, pictorial jacket. Text in French and English, includes diagrams and charts throughout with a foldout map at rear pastedown ("Cartographie de la Pollution des Cotes Bretonnes.") Smudges on top and bottom edges of text block, jacket has multiple smal lchips and closed tears. Documents the proceedings of a November 19-22, 1979, symposium designed to examine the marine effects from a 1978 oil spill when the supertanker Amoco Cadiz ran aground off the coast of North Brittany, France.
