About the Author: Arjun Singh Sethi is a Sikh American civil and political rights writer, human rights lawyer, and adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center and Vanderbilt University Law School. He has written for CNN, Al Jazeera, the Christian Science Monitor, The Guardian, Los Angeles Times, Politico, and the Washington Post and is the author of Open Season: Targets of Hate Crimes Speak Out (The New Press). He lives in Washington, D.C.
