Naito writes a good-natured account of his trip, a catalogue of the mistakes that he felt that he made, and haiku ("Having, / On a fine autumnal day, / Prepared for my journey, / A chat had I with my dog" or "Aki bare no ryoso owarite / inu to shibashi.").
