Amazing Grace: Instrumental Du. This item is unavailable.Amazing Grace: Instrumental Du

Amazing Grace is perhaps the most requested hymn for funerals and memorial programs. This arrangement is designed to be performed as an instrumental duet for any combination of woodwind, brass, or string instruments (Listen and peruse the score on the video below). Following the opening introduction, two verses of the duet are written in concert F with a modulation to concert G for the third and final verse. The range is not excessive, and as an example, the duet written for C and Bb instruments in treble clef (ex. oboe and clarinet) has a range that extends up to concert C above the staff (for the C part) and concert G above the staff (for the Bb part). The melody is exchanged through both parts. The technical demands are intended for accomplished high school performers or above. In sum, this publication contains twelve separate instrument pairings of the duet, transposed and prepared for :C and Bb Instruments in Treble ClefC and Eb Instruments in Treble ClefC and F Instruments in Treble ClefBb and Eb Instruments in Treble ClefBb and F Instruments in Treble ClefEb and Bb Instruments in Treble ClefEb and F Instruments in Treble ClefC Inst. in Treble Clef and C Inst. in Bass ClefBb Inst. Many school music teachers, church musicians, as well as private teachers will find this publication to be very useful. Church musicians often have instrumentalists that enjoy playing for worship services and other programs, but they can’t find literature for their instrument pairing. They will find this version to be quite appropriate and satisfactory. Many school music teachers have high school bands or orchestras with limited instrumentation, but good players, and have difficulty finding printed music for students to play that also fits within their budgets. Private teachers strive to support their students’ performance opportunities in a variety of settings. You will find that this publication is just what you were looking for.
