Mass Market Paperback. Condition: Good. Engle, Robert V. (illustrator). First Paperback Edition. First US paperback edition. Pyramid G478. Originally published in hard covers by Harper and Row in 1958. The covers are quite worn. The spine is faded with reading creasing, light chipping at the top and bottom and some edge rubbing. The front cover has a four inch crease to the top right corner, reading creasing to the left side next to the spine and some discolouration. The back cover has light surface and edge wear. Browning to the page edges with small creases to a few top corners and a stain affecting the tops of the pages. Browning also to the insides of the covers and to the pages with some spotting at the back of the book. Cover illustration by Robert V. Engle. First printing.
