A life in the shadow of Coca-Cola - young women between tradition and modernity
Abir, Jana and Jasmine, an uneven shamrock and best friends, lead a carefree life in Beirut. The traditionally trained Abir admires her friends for her daring: Jasmine is a kickboxer and Jana makes advertising for Coca-Cola in a red bikini. When Jana learns that she is pregnant, the lives of young women are upside down. With deceptive lightheartedness, biting humour and a captivating sense of situation comedy, Alexandra Chreiteh tells of three young women in Lebanon.
