This collection represents an insight into the city’s past, shedding light on the families, culture, and history of Providence from that time period. These birth records provide a glimpse into the lives of the city’s inhabitants, and what it was like to live in Providence nearly a century ago. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.
