Discover the revolutionary approach to teaching the alphabet with our latest book: Alphabet Learning - Recognition - Association - Dyslexia & Neurodivergent Friendly. Crafted by a dyslexic author who has honed these methods over years of experience, this book is a game-changer in inclusive education.
Recognizing and accommodating the needs of left-handed children, especially in writing and learning, is crucial for fostering their confidence, success, and overall well-being. By providing tailored books, educators empower left-handed students to engage fully in the learning process and promote inclusivity within educational settings. Embracing left-handedness enriches the educational experience, cultivates acceptance of diversity, and lays the foundation for lifelong success and fulfilment.
Say goodbye to traditional methods that can be triggering for children with additional needs, especially dyslexia. Our book takes a refreshing approach, blending learning with fun and freedom. By incorporating upper- and lower-case letters grouped in threes (before, middle, and after), we've unlocked the key to easier memory retention of the entire alphabet.
Designed with careful consideration, each letter page features dark grey printing on a pale grey background to alleviate visual sensitivity commonly experienced by dyslexic children. Unlike stark black-on-white pages, our color scheme promotes comfort and focus.
But that's not all. We've introduced a unique element with scribble characters encouraging children to "draw" rather than "write" each letter. This subtle shift reduces anxiety and fosters personal connection and memory formation through coloring and collage.
To further aid association and memory recall, suggestion pictures accompany each letter, offering gentle prompts without overwhelming sensory input. Plus, our innovative grouping of letters in threes minimizes triggers and enhances retention.
Repetition is key, yet we've approached it with finesse. Each letter appears six times throughout the book in various contexts, avoiding the anxiety-inducing practice of forced tracing. Instead, adjacent to each learning page, ample space is provided for free expression and creativity, reinforcing the connection between letters and personal experiences.
And for easy reference, the back of the book features a full alphabet page.
Experience the joy of learning with Alphabet Learning - where free expression meets effective education.
