A lifeless planet should not breathe.
A dead species should not remember.
And the machines of a lost civilisation should not dream.
After the catastrophe that scattered the expedition across an alien world, the survivors find themselves hunted, isolated, and transformed in ways they barely understand. Jessica follows a river into a vast, ancient forest where biology behaves like memory—and memory behaves like a weapon. Tanya, Tom and Jason fight through hostile plains toward a beacon that should not exist. Deep beneath the sea, Polkinghorn enters a silent Citadel where metal grows like flesh and history watches him with mechanical eyes.
Everywhere, the same question echoes:
What is the Alloy, and why is it choosing them?
Across the planet’s surface, evolution itself seems to be waking. Creatures return from death. Ancient machines respond to human touch. Hidden messages drift through the air in chemical whispers. And far beyond this world, forces older than humanity are preparing to decide whether the human species is worth saving—or must be removed.
As the survivors struggle toward reunion, the truth becomes impossible to deny:
Some memories belong to species. Others belong to planets. And some belong to the Universe itself.
The Alloy is a story of survival, transformation, alien intelligence and the thin line between life and machine. The machines remember. The species forgets. But the planet never does.
