Print on Demand. This book focuses on the widespread use of German atrocity stories during the First World War. The author claims these stories were primarily used to garner and sustain public support for the war effort in nations allied against Germany. They served as a way to portray the enemy as barbaric and savage, thereby justifying the need for extreme and violent measures against them. The author argues that these stories were largely fabricated or exaggerated, and that they played a significant role in shaping public opinion and fueling the war effort. The book provides a critical examination of the role of propaganda and misinformation in wartime, highlighting the importance of skepticism and critical thinking in the face of sensationalized claims. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
