It is a "historical" campaign featuring the Vestrii, and race first described in the First Contact supplement for Starfire/Imperial Starfire. It introduces two other new races (the Kess and the J'Rill), and a variety of new technologies for the Starfire system. Unlike some of the Starfire campaigns, this one allows for scenarios to be generated based on the strategic moves of the players, and this supplement includes a map of the region of space where the game takes place.
